The administration jobs are carried out while recording takes place on a Wednesday evening.
The Administration team work in a separate room to the Readers, so there's no need to take a vow of silence. The team open and log all of the pouches received by post in the preceding week. The USB memory sticks are passed on to the copying volunteer to be erased, and the listener database is used to prepare a full set of postal pouches to be filled and posted. Any messages received in the incoming pouches are dealt with.
